IBPS Clerk Mains Result is out. IBPS has announced the IBPS Clerk Result Date – 1st of April, 2016. This will be followed the Merit List declaration on the same date. So candidates will have no time to think over their IBPS Clerk Mains Result, and will mainly be focused on the list.
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is an autonomous institution which conducts and selects personnel for various financial institutions. It also conducts pre-exam training for the reserved category candidates to make them familiar with the online examination and related procedure. IBPS annually conduct examination for the position of Clerks in various Public Sector Banks.
Until Last Year – IBPS Clerk also had an Interview round. However following a Government directive, interviews for all Clerical Cadre posts in PSU Banks have been cancelled. As a result the entire Allotment will be done purely on the basis of the marks obtained in the IBPS Clerk Mains.
This move will surely impact candidates who might have scored a few marks lesser in the CWE but were hopeful of covering them up in the interviews. However, for candidates who are not comfortable with the interviews – this is great news.
IBPS Clerk Mains Result Date – 1st April, 2016:
The IBPS Clerk Main Exam held on 2 and 3 January 2016 was the second phase of the selection procedure for the clerical post in all the participating nationalized banks. Candidates who cleared the cut-off of IBPS Clerk Preliminary level held from 5- 16 December were eligible to appear for the IBPS Clerk Main Examination.
However, until now, those candidates who clear the cut-off of the main examination would have been called for the final selection phase of the exam which is the interview round. The final score of IBPS Clerk Main exam and the interview final score of the candidates would be calculated, and a combined score would be arrived (the IBPS Clerk Mains Result + Interview) for the Allotment.
But, all this is discontinued and now only the CWE 5 IBPS Clerk Mains Result will be considered for the final Allotment.
